Bud Somerville is one of the best-known U.S. Curlers in North America and overseas. Skipped the team from Superior, Wisconsin Curling Club and was the first U.S. team to win the World Men’s Championship in 1965.

By 1988, he had skipped rinks to 14 state, 5 national, and 2 world men’s championships.
