[EAGAN, MN, April 12, 2023]— The U.S. Mixed National Curling Championships are set to begin today at the Denver Curling Club in Golden, CO, running April 12th-16th.

The state of Colorado will host its third national championship of the season after the Denver Coliseum held the Men’s and Women’s Nationals, and Rock Creek Curling held the U18 Nationals. Although the Mixed Nationals will take place in a different venue, Denver will once again welcome some of the best curlers in the country.

“In a very short amount of time, the Denver-area has asserted itself as a great host for curling,” remarked USA Curling Interim CEO Dean Gemmell. “The community continues to welcome us with open arms, and we’re excited to bring the Mixed Nationals to the Denver Curling Club. I have no doubts that they will put on a fantastic event.”

Twelve mixed teams will be split into two pools of six, playing a round robin within their pool. At the conclusion of pool play, the top two teams in each pool will advance to the playoffs. The winner of the Mixed Nationals will represent the U.S. at the World Mixed Curling Championships, tentatively scheduled for this fall.

Streaming for the event can be found on the Denver Curling Club YouTube channel.
