[EAGAN, MN, December 5, 2023] USA Curling is excited to announce the launch of the inaugural National Curling Month, set to take place in January. Through contests, digital and in-person activations, this campaign aims to elevate the sport of curling's recognition and appreciation from coast to coast.

To provide a welcoming introduction to the sport, USA Curling Member Clubs will be encouraged to host Learn-to-Curls, Watch Parties, and events at their facility. The initiative aims to offer curling enthusiasts from all backgrounds the opportunity to feel connected to the curling community and experience the challenges and thrills of the sport. Member Clubs and individuals will have opportunities to earn prizes from USA Curling.

Dean Gemmell, CEO of USA Curling, expressed his excitement for this new initiative, stating, "I am thrilled that National Curling Month will celebrate the curling community and welcome new faces to the sport. It has long been the case that the Olympics and Paralympics provide a burst of excitement every four years, and this special month is part of an ongoing effort to generate interest during the years between Games.”

Club leadership will be contacted shortly with more information about National Curling Month events and opportunities.
