[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, April 19th, 2024] The top curlers who play in an arena setting will be in Wausau, WI, from October 23-27, to compete in the 2024 USA Curling Arena National Championships.

The Wausau Curling Club, an eight-sheet club with terrific viewing options and amenities, has hosted other USA Curling evets, including the 2023 Men’s & Women’s Club Nationals. The club also hosted the COVID-era Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles Nationals in May of 2022.

Established in 2013, the Arena National Championships allow players who do not have regular access to dedicated curling ice to compete against each other in top-tier conditions. An arena club is defined as a club that is a member in good standing of USA Curling and conducts all its on-ice activities by renting ice from a facility that is not solely or predominantly used for curling.

“Wausau has been a great partner of ours, and we’re thrilled they are able to welcome our nation’s arena curlers in 2024,” remarked USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “The competitors in this event are so dedicated to the sport, putting in countless additional hours just to get on the ice in their arenas, and I know they will enjoy the opportunity to play in one of the premier curling facilities in the country.”

In the coming months, more information about the Arena National Championships will be available here.
