Report suspected incidents of abuse, harassment, bullying, and/or hazing, as defined in the USA Curling SafeSport Handbook.

Adult participants (as defined in the USA Curling SafeSport Handbook) MUST report sexual misconduct and abuse (including child sexual abuse) and retaliation to the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

Actual or perceived incidents of physical abuse, emotional abuse, bullying, harassment, or hazing, as defined in the USA Curling SafeSport Handbookviolations of the minor athlete abuse prevention policy, and sexual misconduct, as defined in the SafeSport Code for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movementat USA Curling events or perpetrated by individuals such as certified coaches, instructors, ice makers, or officials, must be reported to the U.S. Center for SafeSport (the Center) and/or USA Curling through one of the following methods listed below.

Report to the U.S. Center for SafeSport

The Center accepts all reports of sexual abuse and child abuse within the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement. Report here if you have reasonable suspicion of sexual misconduct or harassment, child abuse (including child sexual abuse), or intimate relationships involving an imbalance of power. The Center also accepts reports of emotional and physical misconduct (including but not limited to bullying, hazing, stalking, and harassment) within the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement.

Report to USA Curling

Reports of emotional and physical misconduct can also be reported directly to USA Curling.

To submit a complaint to us, you can:

  • Complete the online reporting document—click here.

  • Email details to curlsafe@usacurling.org.

  • Text RealResponse, a third-party provider of reporting services, at 432-CURLING.

While USA Curling will accept an anonymous complaint, it is strongly encouraged that the following information be included in all reports:

  • Name and contact information of person submitting the complaint

  • Type of misconduct alleged

  • Name(s) of individuals(s) who allegedly committed the misconduct

  • Name(s) of victim(s) of the alleged misconduct

  • Approximate date, time, and location the alleged misconduct was committed

  • Names of other individuals who might have information regarding the alleged misconduct

  • Reasons suggesting that the misconduct has occurred

Any reports made to USA Curling that fall under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Center for SafeSport will be forwarded to the Center. The Center has exclusive jurisdiction over such cases.
