Albert M. “Andy” Anderson
Andy Anderson, native Chicagoan and Chicago Curling Club member since 1972, played a key role in the promotion, development, and advancement of curling in the United States. From his involvement as President of the Chicago Curling Club, he went on to be treasurer of the Illinois Curling Association, an Illinois Representative to the United States Curling Association (USCA), serving as its treasurer, secretary, vice president, and then the USCA president. During his tenure, he was instrumental in effecting the rules and governance of the USCA as well as promoting its financial integrity. His leadership broadened to serving 14 years on the World Curling Federation (WCF), first as a USCA representative for six years, then as Director of Finance and chairman for the Finance Commission as a member of the WCF Board of Directors.
