USA Curling is excited to announce its National Junior Development Program (NJDP) will return for a second season.  NJDP, created to provide junior athletes the resources needed to elevate their game to the next level, is now accepting registrations until Oct. 13, 2021.

Following the inaugural season of the National Junior Development Program, participating athletes rated their experience, from guest presenters and resources to networking opportunities, as five stars.

This year, Director of Junior Sport Performance, Jessica Schultz, looks forward to building on providing experiences and skills for curlers across the country.

“We’re thrilled to provide education and information on the necessary steps to becoming an elite curling athlete,” said Schultz. “In addition to coaching, training, and educational resources, we’re excited to offer athletes the opportunity to interact with others who have similar aspirations.”

Athletes enrolled in the program will receive access to a six-part webinar series that will be hosted on the first Wednesday of each month. Each session will dive deeper into a topic related to being competitive on the ice and will host a variety of guest speakers who are specialists on the topics.
