[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, March 25, 2025]  The 2025 Men’s & Women’s Arena Club National Championships, an event for curlers who play regularly on prepped skating ice in an arena setting, will be held at CurlVegas in Las Vegas, NV, from October 14-19, 2025.

It’s fitting that CurlVegas, a club that played in an arena setting until opening its new facility last season, will serve as the championship host.

“I always say our Member Clubs that curl on prepped skating ice have our most dedicated competitors,” noted USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “They face no shortage of challenges to play regularly, and they bring that same level of commitment to every game at this championship.”

The Arena Nationals features fields of 12 Men’s and 12 Women’s teams. Teams are divided into two pools of six, with the top three advancing to the playoffs. The first place teams in each pool earn a bye to the semi-finals, while the other teams compete in a preliminary playoff round.

CurlVegas President Brad Whitlock said, “We spent years fighting for ice time in an arena setting playing on hockey ice. It’s exciting to partner with USA Curling to welcome curlers from around the country to this championship in our new dedicated curling facility. We're a proud example of the hard but worthwhile journey that's involved going from rental hockey ice to our own building with dedicated curling ice.”

The Arena Club Nationals are a regionally-based championship, with teams earning berths through playdowns organized by their regional associations, along with one berth that is awarded to the winner of a qualifier bonspiel hosted by the La Crosse Curling Club and scheduled for September 5-7, 2025. More information about that event will be available in the coming months and specific inquiries can be sent to bonspiel@lacrossecurlingclub.com.

The defending champions in each gender also receive a berth. In 2024, Team Spangler (Camren Spangler, William Hillman, Brian Feldman Jr., Brian Feldman Sr.) from the Wine Country Curling Club and the Mountain & Pacific Curling Association (MOPAC) won the men’s title, while Team Asis (Jennifer Asis, Melissa Wheeler, Julie Wolf, Jaclyn Pytlarz, Kathalin Alsmeier) from the Silicon Valley Curling Club and MOPAC captured the the women’s championship. Both teams will return in 2025.
