[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, April 15, 2025]  The best teams comprised of two men and two women are headed to Colorado to compete for the 2025 USA Curling Mixed Fours National Championship at the Denver Curling Club from April 16th through the 20th.

This is a regionally-based championship—teams have advanced to this event through playdowns run by a Recognized Regional Association (RRA) of USA Curling. Each region receives one berth, with an additional berth awarded to the region with the greatest number of playdown entries. This year, that berth went to the Mountain & Pacific Curling Association (MOPAC).

The host club, as in other regionally-based championships and in the Five-and-Under Nationals, also receives a berth in the event.

The twelve-team field will compete in two pools of six. The top teams in each pool will advance directly to the semi-finals, while the second and third place teams will compete in the initial round of the playoffs. The Gold and Bronze medal games are scheduled for Sunday, April 20th at 10 AM Mountain Time.

There is no shortage of experienced Mixed Fours Nationals competitors in the field, along with former champions. Team Falco (David Falco, Becca Wood, Lance Wheeler, Clare Moores), representing the host club, will look to go back-to-back after being crowned national champions in 2024, while Team Workin (Evan Workin, Rachel Workin, Jordan Brown, Christina Wilwand) captured this title in 2018.

Other strong contenders include Team Leichter (Alex Leichter, Laura Hallisey, Ryan Hallisey, Nicole Aaron)—Leichter and Hallisey were one-half of the Broomstones team that captured the Men’s Club Nationals just a few weeks ago. Olympian Nina Roth will skip her experienced Madison team in Denver, and 2013 Mixed Doubles Nationals champions Peter and Maureen Stolt aim to add a Mixed Fours title to their resumes.

“This championship has a rich history, providing intense competition and an opportunity to connect with curlers from across the country,” said USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “We know the Denver Curling Club will deliver another first-rate experience, and we’re excited to be back in the home state of Dale’s, the official beer of USA Curling.”

Games will be streamed on the Denver Curling Club YouTube channel, while scores, DSC results, team lineups, and the draw schedule can be found here on the USA Curling website.
