[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, April 10, 2025]  The Pre-Trials, an event that determines the final berths in the November Olympic Team Trials, will be held at the Charlotte Curling Association in Charlotte, NC, from September 11th through the 14th.

The Olympic Team Trials are scheduled for November 11th through the 16th at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, SD, with four teams of each gender competing. The Top Three Men’s and Top Three Women’s teams will be named on May 1st, 2025.

The Pre-Trials will determine the fourth and final berth for each gender. It is open to any team ranked in the Top 100 in the World Curling Team Rankings that is not qualified for the Team Trials on May 1st.

“It will be an exciting season of elite curling in North Carolina,” noted USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “This event brings high-level competition and Olympic dreams to the Charlotte Curling Association, and we’ll be back in the city in late February for the Men’s & Women’s National Championships at Bojangles Coliseum.”

Four to five teams of each gender are expected to compete at the Pre-Trials.

Gemmell added, “We’re grateful to the Charlotte Curling Association for hosting this important event, and we look forward to helping grow the game in the city and the state in 2025-26.”
