CURL MESABI TO HOST 2022 U.S. ARENA CURLING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2022 U.S. Arena Curling National Championships are heading north as Curl Mesabi in Eveleth, Minn., will welcome arena curlers from across the country on Nov. 3-6, 2022.
The U.S. Arena Curling National Championships are a club-based event that determine the top arena curlers, defined as individuals who belong to curling clubs with ice surface not solely or predominantly used for curling, in the country.
“We’re excited to host the 2022 Arena National Championships and the passionate curlers working hard to grow curling across the United States,” said Steve Andrie, Board President of Curl Mesabi. “We are sure they will enjoy our great facility and the great region.”
In March 2022, it was announced that the Championships, historically held in the spring, would move to Fall to allow arena curlers additional opportunities to compete in events without conflict.
In addition to rescheduling the Championships on a going-forward basis to maximize opportunities and expand the footprint at the grassroot level of the sport, USA Curling is thrilled to deliver an event that is in alignment with national caliber events.
