USA CURLING WELCOMES NEW CFO
It is with much excitement that USA Curling announces Eric Gleason as the organization’s next Chief Financial Officer.
“I am very pleased to welcome Eric Gleason as our next Chief Financial Officer,” said USA Curling CEO Jeff Plush. “Eric was first a colleague of mine at the United States Soccer Federation, where he served as CFO for over ten years, and again as he acted as CFO for the National Women’s Soccer League.”
Gleason brings with him a wealth of experience, knowledge, and strategic excellence, serving most recently as Chief Operating & Financial Officer at USA Rugby.
Beginning in March, Gleason will take over as CFO, as Ron Rossi has announced his resignation from the organization after nearly four years of service to USA Curling.
“On behalf of USA Curling, I would like to express gratitude and appreciation to Ron Rossi for his countless contributions to our organization throughout the duration of his service,” said Plush.
With over 30 years of dedication to the Olympic Movement, Rossi will not be a stranger, as his next role will be with the Winter World University Games in Lake Placid, N.Y.
“As Ron still has much to give to the Olympic Movement, we wish him all the very best in his new role with the Winter World University Games,” added Plush.
Recognizing the key role Rossi played in the development of the organization, Plush prioritized the fulfillment of Rossi’s position with someone who could continue to contribute to USA Curling by drawing on their extensive background and familiarity with the sporting space.
USA Curling wishes Rossi the best in his next endeavor and looks forward to welcoming Gleason to the organization at the beginning of March
