2021 JUNIOR CURLING CAMP AT TRIANGLE CURLING CLUB

Alongside Grand National Curling Club (GNCC) and CurlTech, USA Curling is excited to announce the 2021 GNCC Junior Curling Camp hosted by the Triangle Curling Club in Durham, North Carolina.
Scheduled September 17-19, 2021, GNCC, USA Curling, and CurlTech will welcome GNCC junior curlers, ages 13-18, to the Triangle Curling Club for three days of instruction, collaboration, and workshops both on and off the ice. The curriculum of the weekend will be powered by CurlTech, emphasizing proper delivery and sweeping technique, as well as game strategy principles.
“We are ecstatic to collaborate with GNCC and CurlTech,” said Jessica Shultz, National Director of Junior Sport Performance. “Our resources, combined with the talents behind successful junior programming will be sure to offer a camp experience unlike ever before.”
As part of USA Curling’s commitment to further strengthen and promote junior curling in the United States, teaming up with the expertise of GNCC and CurlTech’s curriculum will not only help accelerate the shared initiative of advancing junior curling, but will also maximize each camper’s experience.
“The GNCC has had a long-running camp within our region that has been operated much in the same each year,” said Ashley Abbott, GNCC Director of Junior Curling. “The partnership with USA Curling and CurlTech will provide our juniors with new opportunities for learning and growth within the sport they love.”
Registration for the 2021 Junior Curling Camp at Triangle Curling Club is now open until August 20, 2021 and welcomes curlers to register either as individuals or as teams.
A COVID-19 Policy, inclusive of GNCC, USA Curling, and the state of North Carolina guidelines will be released at a date closer to the start of camp.
