The U.S. Deaf Curling is seeking deaf and hard of hearing curlers for opportunities to participate in developmental programs, bonspiels, deaf world championships and Winter Deaflympics.
The only eligibility requirement is being deaf, defined as a hearing loss of at least 55 dB per tone average in the better ear without using a hearing aid or external transmitter of a cochlear implant. The 3-tone frequency average is at 500, 1000 and 2000 Hertz, ISO 1969 Standard.
