Ernie Slyziuk

Ernie and his brother, Mike (also a USCA Hall of Fame member) won two national championships (1958, 1963). His team posted an exceptional 75-26 record at 10 U.S. Nationals.

A native of Manitoba, Canada, Ernie was a two-term president of the Detroit Curling Club. One of Ernie’s greatest curling moments was beating Bud Somerville’s rink in the 1963 nationals.
