Harvey Marshall

Known as Mr. Curler in Minnesota, Harvey has earned respect in curling circles worldwide for his service to the game. He reorganized the Minnesota State Curling Association and worked tirelessly to help build curling not only in his state, but nationally. His years of service include being Duluth Curling Club president for 10 years and a director for 15, Minnesota State Curling Ass’n. President for 10 years, and United States Men’s Curling Ass’n. Director for 15 years and president (1979-80). He developed and helped coach Junior Curling in Duluth. He was a Scottish Tour member (1972), an honorary vice president of the Royal Caledonia Club of Scotland, Silver Broom operations director (1976) and chairman (1984) and a director and secretary of the American Curling Foundation. He also served 14 civic organizations. Many in the curling community have benefited from Harvey’s hard work and commitment.
