[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, March 20, 2025]  Despite a successful debut on CBS Sports last fall, the Everest North American Curling Curling Club Championships will not return in 2025. Title sponsor Everest Funeral Concierge has entered into a new agreement with World Curling and will work with the international federation going forward.

“While disappointed, we are truly grateful to Everest and CEO Mark Duffey for the significant investment they made in 2024, and truly appreciate what the event did to celebrate the sport and our Club Nationals champions,” noted USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “We recognize that all event sponsors have to make business decisions, and we look forward to seeing what Everest brings to a partnership with World Curling.”

In 2024, the Everest-backed event delivered four hours of curling coverage on the CBS Sports network over two evenings from Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO. The 2024 USA Curling Club Nationals champions in Men’s (Team Berg) and Women’s (Team Schroeder) faced off against the 2023 Everest Canadian Curling Club champions—Team Sherrard on the Men’s side and Team Burgess in the Women’s.

The high-quality production and fan-friendly atmosphere was well-received by viewers and spectators, and competitors enjoyed a first-class experience. The team at Rock Creek Curling was a key part of the event’s success, and the opportunity to showcase the sport in their extraordinary venue was highly valued.

Gemmell added, “While this year’s USA Curling Club Nationals champions won’t have the same experience in 2025, we will continue our efforts to further elevate an event that is extremely important to us. Club Nationals delivers high-level competition and provides an opportunity to connect with other dedicated curlers from around the country, all while celebrating the club-based heritage of our sport.”

The 2025 USA Curling Club Nationals kicks off this week at the Milwaukee Curling Club in Cedarburg, WI. More information about this year’s event will be available soon.
