ONE EVENT. ONE BERTH. OPEN TO ALL.
[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, July 2, 2024] — USA Curling is pleased to announce that registration has opened for the Last Chance Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier, scheduled for Curl Mesabi in Eveleth, MN, from November 15-17, 2024. The team that wins this event will earn a berth in the 2025 Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials/Nationals at Rock Creek Curling in Lafayette, CO.
“We’re very excited to fuel the Olympic dreams of our curling community with this one-time opportunity, and grateful to Curl Mesabi for hosting this unique event,” noted USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell. “It makes the Trials open to all, but it’s the final berth in the field that’s up for grabs—it’s truly win-or-go-home.”
Who can enter?
The Last Chance Mixed Doubles Olympic Trials Qualifier is open to all U.S. teams not already qualified for the Mixed Doubles Trials/Nationals. All players must be American citizens and have a valid USA Curling Competitor membership—there will be no international teams in the field.

Since the event is open entry, format is not pre-determined. It will be based on the total number of teams in the field once registration closes on September 30, 2024. The number of days allotted to the event will not change.
