U21 JUNIOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS—2025 SITE NEEDED

[EDEN PRAIRIE, MN, July 2, 2024] — USA Curling has secured locations for the U21 Junior Nationals from 2026 through 2028 but a change in the date of the 2025 World Junior Curling Championships has made it impossible for the projected 2025 host, the Broomstones Curling Club in Wayland, MA, to hold the Junior Nationals this upcoming season.
“We looked forward to returning to Broomstones in 2025, and the club made every effort to adjust their calendar after the World Curling announcement,” remarked USA Curling CEO. “But it is a very busy club and there simply wasn’t a good option. We are thrilled that Broomstones will host Junior Nationals in 2027.”
This development means that a site for the 2025 USA Curling Junior Men’s & Women’s Nationals is needed. USA Curling is aiming to hold the event from March 30-April 5, 20-24. That is one week earlier than was planned prior to the announcement of the shift in the dates of the World Junior Championships.
The 2026 Junior Nationals will be in Bismarck, ND, at the Capital Curling Club, with the 2027 Junior Nationals at Broomstones. In 2028, the event will be in northern Michigan at the Traverse City Curling Club.
